Finding incredible roads to travel is never in short supply in a state as big as California. Even though Wheeltales has visited the Gold Country at the end of the Tahoe Tour, it wasn't near enough time to really appreciate some of the old farming and back country pavement (and gravel) to had in this spectacular area. From steep hills to fields of flowers with deer. We had everything and more. Great food, laughs and above all memories.
A day of rain didn't dampen the fun it only added to the camaraderie when we all packed into a 10' x 12' room for dining and libations.
Wheeltales will be sure to look for more adventures in the Gold Country area.

"THERE BE GOLD IN THEM DAR' HILLS!" A precious adventure lies in this challenging tour. a course that has really two directions, up and down. Though there is quite a bit of climbing, most are short with quick relief only to be followed by another. The historic towns of Sonora, Jackson and Murphy's will fill your ride with legend and lore as you travel old roads into the past.
This tour has options for indoor cabin accommodations. Get your reservation in to secure these as they are limited and will likely be the first to sell. Breakfast and dinner included with lunch on the road.
